We race today because racing is part and parcel of the Saleen corporate DNA. We’ve raced and won championships with our Mustangs since the beginning and the S7 was conceived to combine the performance of a track-only race car with the driving pleasure of a road car.

Unlike most exotic supercars, the Saleen S7 racing version, the S7R, has already proven itself on the international motor sports stage. During the past five years, the racing version has been on pole and set fastest race lap more than 60 times and has won nearly 60 races around the world. This incredible record includes capturing seven GT Manufacturers’ championships and GT Drivers’ championships, winning the grueling 12 Hours of Sebring and setting a new track record at the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans.
During the past 20 years Saleen has won eight Manufacturers’ Championships in GT sports car racing and several Drivers’ Championships as well. |

| Currently, the S7R competes in the European Le Mans Series LMES, campaigned by Saleen/Oreca, sponsored by Playstation and driven by Stephane Ortelli and Soheil Ayari and in the French GT Series FFSA sponsored by Anaveo and driven by Bruno Hernandez and Soheil Ayari. The S7R comptetes in the FFSA series, campaigned by Protek and driven by Dominique Dupuy and Francois Fiat . Campaigning in the FIA GT series, the Zakspeed S7R is driven by Sasha Bert and Jarek Janis. Europe Saleen S7Rs continue to win poles, set fastest race laps and win races in the highly competitive FIA GT, FFSA and LMES Championships. |
