SPEEDLAB CAR WINS 11th ANNUAL NITTO TIRE NMRA WORLD FINALS

BOWLING GREEN, Ken., Oct. 5 – JDM Racing’s SpeedLab Saleen took first place at the 11th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals, with a best of 10.76 at 128 mph at Beech Bend Raceway. Paul Gamino was the winning driver.

The car features Saleen’s distinctive new ‘SuperShaker’ hood.

"The Bowling Green Event was a big success but also caused some drama because the Speedlab Car went too fast for the safety equipment," said team owner, James D’Amore. . When we took the weight out of the car, we were over 130 mph in the quarter mile.

"It makes a big statement that you can buy a Supershaker, Saleen Fuel Rails, Saleen upgraded heat exchanger, 3.73 Gears and a one-piece driveshaft along with Saleen suspension. You can drive this car to California and get 23 MPG and drive it to the drag strip and runs 10's with it. Very impressive."

D’Amore also noted that the car will be legal for the Texas Event and it carries a front license plate from a magazine because ‘Saleen now owns the first national win for a 2010 Mustang and the magazine wanted to be a part of it."
